You didn’t think twice, before you said “it’s over”.

I was sure you didn’t mean it and tried to get closer,

To apologise, to hug and to kiss away the differences.

You pushed me back, said there’re no more chances.

You packed your bags and left, I could hear.

I tried hard but couldn’t stop the tears.

I still don’t know what did I fear.

I stayed alone, didn’t let anybody come near.

From the people who cared, I would refrain.

I never thought I could love someone ever again.

My feelings were shattered and heart was broken.

It took me long to love the sun more than the rain.

But I realized-

I loved and enjoyed my own company.

I look equally beautiful with my hair messy.

I tried to change myself to be your destiny.

Which didn’t work because it wasn’t me.

I will never cry for who was never mine.

I will believe when God shows me a sign.

I will laugh and live, let my soul shine.

For what I love, I wont let them define.
